About Atlantic Analytical Pharmaceutical Services
Founded in 1963 by Dr. Fred Gollob as Gollob Analytical Services (GAS), and headed since 1988 by Bruce Gollob, Atlantic Analytical Laboratory (AAL) has a distinguished history of meeting the industry’s need for expertise in the areas of gases and volatile impurities in a diverse and ever-changing marketplace. AAL’s recent expansion into non-volatile impurities is a direct response to the demands of that marketplace.
The opening of our additional facility dedicated to cGMP attests to our rapidly expanding pharmaceutical capabilities. Our new facility specializes in developing and validating analytical methods designed for identifying pharmaceutical impurities and reducing the quantitation limits of known and possible genotoxins, residual solvents, alkylating agents, and mesylates.
AAL has also recently expanded its multi-compendial gas testing to cover both the USP/NF and EP monographs, and now boasts the capability to validate custom specifications of gases and gas mixtures according to cGMP criteria.
Additionally, AAL can develop novel small-scale, small-molecule synthetic reagents, primary standards, and chemical markers for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical and contract research organizations (CROs), supported by a complete Certificate of Analysis (C of A).
By working together today, Atlantic Analytical can help pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturers anticipate and overcome the challenges of compliance with national and international regulatory processes of tomorrow in a cost-effective manner. Utilizing AAL’s out-source services as your contract research firm can add significantly to the overall project profitability. Product development processes may be redirected as companies think about their future product lifecycle, directing new drugs and reconfiguring support to add significantly to overall profitability. New regulatory challenges can blindside the pioneer. For those who plan wisely and meet those hurdles today, compliance can offer greater rewards.
